We are a friendly gymnastics club who train regularly and welcome prospective adult members of both the university and the community. While our main focuses are men’s and women’s artistic gymnastics, we welcome gymnasts from all disciplines and of all abilities. Joining our sessions is a great way to stay active in a fun and friendly environment, and there are plenty of opportunities for beginners and experienced gymnasts alike to compete.
The club is run by a dedicated committee with a love for the sport who organise training, competitions, regular socials and much more. All of our gymnastics sessions are supervised by qualified coaches who are keen to support you through your gymnastics journey and help you reach your goals.
We train at Iffley Road Sports Centre and Abingdon Gymnastics Club during Oxford University term times. Iffley, the home of Oxford sport is a short walk or cycle from the city centre, and most of our members catch the bus together to get to Abingdon GC for full apparatus training. You can find out more about what these facilities have to offer by checking out our training pages.
Browse our website to find out more and if you have any questions, please drop us an email at gymnastics.club@sport.ox.ac.uk. We can’t wait for you to join the OUGym family!
Just some of the cool things we get up to – there’s something for everyone!
